ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

4th MAW supports IRT Old Harbor

The engineer equipment will be used during Innovative Readiness Training Old Harbor, a project to extend a remote runway beginning in May running through August. The project will continue work started by the Marine Corps Reserve in 2013 to extend a remote village runway by about 2000 feet.
