ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Joshua Ploetz, as he paddles closer to the end of his 2,575-mile journey down the Mississippi River, in New Orleans, July 25, 2014. Ploetz began his journey to raise awareness for post-traumatic stress May 19, at Lake Itasca Minn.
