ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

The campaign focused on making sure Reserve Marines understand the importance of being Marines 24/7 not just two days out of the month. The briefs also focused on 4th MLG’s upcoming training, what is expected in the upcoming year and how family readiness and spousal involvement is imperative to the unit’s success.
