ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Veterans Honored in Baton Rouge
Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, (right) commander of Marine Forces Reserve, speaks to Albert K. Germany, a member of the Post 38 American Legion Honor Guard following a Veterans Day program held at the City Club of Baton Rouge in downtown Baton Rouge, La., Nov. 11, 2014.
