ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Thomas Benge, Marine Air Ground Task Force planners, G-3/5, Marine Forces Reserve, place flags at headstones at the Chalmette National Cemetery in Chalmette, La., May 22, 2015. Marines from MARFORRES volunteered Friday morning to place hundreds of flags at headstones in remembrance of Memorial Day to honor the men and women who lost their lives fighting for the country.
