ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marines from Marine Forces Reserve return from a 3-mile motivational formation run at Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Nov. 10, 2015. Each year, the Marines celebrate the Corps’ birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony followed by a run. Since Nov. 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps has garnered the reputation as the world's most efficient amphibious fighting force, engaging in combat on battlefronts across the globe since its inception.
