Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marines educate and empower local high school and college students at Dillard University

Wyanika Christophe, a career planner with Marine Forces Reserve, speaks to high school girls during the United Negro College Fund’s “Empower Me” Tour, Feb. 20, 2016, at Dillard University in New Orleans, La. Marines and business professionals answered students’ questions about leadership, personal development, positive role models and personal experiences in educational and professional environments. The UNCF-sponsored annual tour takes place at UNCF member campuses and provides high school students and their parents with information about college preparation, successful student strategies and financial aid.
