ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Shooting for the Gold

The Western Division Matches are part of a Marine Corps wide competition designed for self-improvement in marksmanship in order to improve Marines’ combat readiness. The winners of each regional competition will go to compete in the national match held aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C.
