ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Gen. David M. Mize (right), chairman of the Mayor’s Military Advisory Committee, during the Armed Forces Day celebration at the National World War II Museum, May 21, 2016. Baumer was recognized for his outstanding efforts in improving the local community and for setting an excellent example to his fellow Marines.
