ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Relief and Appointment
Sgt. Maj. Anthony A. Spadaro, former Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North sergeant major, passes the Noncommissioned Officer sword to Lt. Gen. Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North during the Relief and Appointment ceremony at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, May 27, 2016. Spadaro, who has been selected to serve as the senior enlisted advisor for U.S. Pacific Command, passes on his duties to Sgt. Maj. Patrick L. Kimble, former sergeant major of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
