ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Lt. Gen. McMillian attends 49ers practice
Lieutenant General Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North and Guy McIntyre, retired offensive lineman from the 49ers and director of alumni relations, discuss the history of the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium, Nov. 4, 2016. McMillian was invited to observe a 49ers’ practice session in preparation for Sunday’s “Salute to Service” game against the New Orleans Saints at Levi’s Stadium. The half-time show of Sunday’s game will recognize the Marine Forces Reserve Centennial. Today, approximately 500 Reserve Marines are providing fully integrated operational support to Fleet and Combatant Commanders around the world.
