ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

From World War I through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Marine Corps Reserve has played an essential role in the Marine Corps Total Force by augmenting and reinforcing the active component across the full range of military operations.
