ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marine awarded Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroic actions
The family of Cpl. In 2014, Qualls and other Marines helped save a man stuck inside a burning vehicle. According to the award summary, had he not arrived when he did, the man would have surely died.
