ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Andy Sosa, an Amphibious Assault Vehicle crewmember, with Charlie Company, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, poses in front of an AAV at Ford Park Entertainment Complex, Beaumont, Texas on Sept. 1, 2017. Sosa participated in search and rescues operations during Hurricane Harvey helping execute civilian medical evacuations, rescue families trapped in flooded areas and delivering supplies to 300 students, stranded at a local university.
