ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

4th MAW leaders attend memorial and celebration in Mississippi

Leaders of 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, as well as leaders and residents of Mississippi, held a memorial for the 16 service members of a C-130 crash in July 2017, in Moorhead, Miss., Oct. 19, 2017. A mural of all the U.S. branches was created by Shade Smith, a resident of Moorhead, in rememberance of those who died in the crash. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Dallas Johnson)
