ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

A U.S. Marine with Hotel Battery, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, carries a M795 155mm projectile at Adazi Training Area, Latvia, March 2, 2019, in support of exercise Dynamic Front 19. DF19 will provide an intense, realistic environment that takes advantage of U.S. Army Europe’s unique training resources to seamlessly coordinate fires in support of U.S. and Allied operations. Approximately 3,200 participants from 27 nations will take part in the live-fire portion of exercise Dynamic Front 19, March 2-9, 2019, at the U.S. Army's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany; as well as in Riga, Latvia; and Torun, Poland.
