ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, drag a simulated casualty in Range 400 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Aug. 5, 2019, during Integrated Training Exercise 5-19. After ITX 5-19, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment will be activated and deploy to the Indo-Pacific Command to conduct multiple exercises across the region.
