ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Spray and Pray: MARFORRES Marines endure OC Spray during SAF Training

Bryan Sisson, lead trainer of the Security Augmentation Force course, guides U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Carlos Gonzalez, a supply administration clerk with Force Headquarters Group, through the SAF course at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Sept. 13, 2019. SAF training is designed to provide the facility with qualified and properly trained personnel ready to support the military provost marshal’s office. SAF Marines are required to participate in defensive tactics training, a gate procedures class, vehicle search training and qualify for level one contamination with oleoresin capsicum spray.
