ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

“Alaska Marines” deliver toys across northwestern Alaska
Robert Kirk, a trail guide from Noatak, Alaska, leads the Marines with Delta Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, down a trail from Noatak to Kotzebue, Alaska, Dec. 14, 2021. The “Alaska Marines” went to Alaska’s Northwest Arctic Borough and traveled by snowmobile and aircraft to dress as Santa Claus and deliver toys to children in remote villages belonging to Alaskan Natives.
