ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

U.S. Marines assigned to Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve secure a position during a simulated-fire raid during exercise Raven 22-5 in Lacombe, Louisiana, May 13, 2022. Raven is a routine exercise that tests Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Marines with realistic training scenarios that maintains a readiness posture against the various situations they may encounter while deployed.
