ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Platoon Attacks
A U.S. Marine with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, fires an M203 grenade launcher during a platoon attack at Range 410A during Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-22 at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., on July 20th, 2022. Range 410A challenges platoons to perform a complex fire and maneuver attack requiring communication and coordination between multiple support by fire positions and a maneuver element.
