ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army service members pose for a photo after completing joint High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) drills in preparation of exercise Arctic Edge 2024 in Fort Greely, Alaska, Feb. 18, 2024. Joint HIMAR drills allow both services to collaborate in order to ensure readiness in real-life scenarios. The HIMARS weapon system is a highly mobile artillery rocket system that fires six guided missiles in quick succession. ARCTIC EDGE 2024 (AE24) is a U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise demonstrating the U.S. military’s capabilities in extreme cold weather, joint force readiness, and U.S. military commitment to mutual strategic security interests in the Arctic region.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
