ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Tanner Baird for the Air Force’s participation in Toys for Tots at an airfield on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Dec. 4, 2024. Quinn, an inspector instructor, with 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, Baird, an Arctic Training non-commissioned officer in charge, with 11th Air Force, rendezvoused to the airfield in order to load snowmobiles and gear onto C-130 Super Hercules aircraft provided by Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 153 for upcoming Toys for Tots missions in Kotzebue and Barrow, Alaska. The Toys for Tots mission exemplifies the Marine Corps spirit in the Last Frontier, strengthening community ties while sharpening the Marines' readiness for Arctic operations.
