ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Toys for Tots sets out to Utqiaġvik

Service members with the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force load a sled of gear onto a KC-130J Super Hercules at an airfield in Kotzebue, Alaska, Dec. 13, 2024. Marines with Detachment Delta Company, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 153, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing joined by Airmen, loaded the aircraft for transport to Utqiagvik, Alaska to continue this year’s Alaskan Toys for Tots operation.
