ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marines with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, conducted the training event to increase proficiency in combat operations in an urban environment in preparation for their upcoming deployment to Okinawa, Japan, ensuring the Marines are fully manned, trained and equipped to meet mission challenges.
