ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

4th AABn Acquire New Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Crafts

The U.S. Marine Corps multi-mission reconnaissance crafts–alpha variant–with 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, are positioned on trailers for maintenance, Tampa, Florida, March 5, 2025. The MMRC-A is equipped with two, 300 horsepower turbo-diesel outboard motors, enabling Marines with 4th AABn to continue to train and operate in the maritime domain, supporting service level littoral maneuver concept development efforts.
