ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marines Honor Former Commandant with Wreath Laying

The Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South Color guard stands in front of the grave of Gen. Robert Barrow during a wreath laying ceremony for Gen. Robert Barrow, the 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps, in St. Francisville, L.A., Nov. 10, 2024. Barrow was the first Marine Corps commandant to be buried at his hometown and not in Arlington National Cemetery.
