ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Marine Cpl. Patrick Treece, an air traffic control communications technician, explains the functioning of his remote landing site tower to 7-year-old Mathis Wilson at the 2009 Armed Forces Bowl 'Adventure Zone' on the Texas Christian University campus here Dec 30. Treece, a Rowlett, Texas resident, is a reservist stationed with Air Traffic Control Detachment A, Marine Air Control Squadron 24. The transportable air traffic control tower is used on expeditionary airfields in Iraq and Afghanistan.
