ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

U.S. Marine Col. Jay Huston, the commanding officer of 24th Marine Regiment, drinks fresh water from a jungle vine June 25, 2010 while visiting Marines on deployment with Landing Force Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training in Malaysia. Several reserve officers had the opportunity to lead more than two hundred reservists from the 24th Marine Regiment during the entire four-month exercise.
