ABOUT

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Reserve Marine Capt. Justin Martell (front, left), the battalion judge advocate for 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, makes his way to the courthouse on a joint foot patrol Feb. 5, 2009. During his seven-month tour in Iraq, Martell helped to successfully coordinate efforts of Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces. In his civilian career Martell is an attorney with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel in Washington, D.C.
