ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

Iwo Jima veteran Robert S. Crouch, one of the memorial service’s two guests of honor, stands with Mayor Gregory A. Ballard during the First Annual Iwo Jima Memorial Service at the Indiana War Memorial Museum Feb. 23. Detachment 1, Communications Company, Headquarters and Service Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group invited more than a dozen Iwo Jima Marine veterans from across Indiana to the event to honor their service on Iwo Jima.
