ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

As chief instructor at the Reserve combat marksmanship trainer school in Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Rhiel and other members of the pistol team participate in various shooting events in order to learn about different aspects of shooting and take the knowledge back to students.
