ABOUT 

Mountain Warfare Training Exercise (MTX) 2022 sees 1st Battalion, 24th Marines (Reinforced) conducting Mountain Exercise 4-22 aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., in order to sustain individual warfighting  proficiency and improve, sustain, and evaluate company-level offensive and defensive tasks as well as battalion-level planning and command and control.

The NCO development team is a mobile detachment of instructors tasked with mentoring the NCOs and officers of US partner nations in the fundamentals of leadership, to include: the roles of NCOs and officers, small-unit leadership, decision-making procedures, military professionalism and operational proficiency.
