"Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) is a service level training exercise (SLTE) and the annual capstone Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) training event for Marine Forces Reserve (MFR).  ITX provides the premier live-fire combined arms training venue to assess readiness of designated units in support of Strategic Reserve Mobilization Requirements."

As the Marine Corps Reserve’s premier annual training event, ITX provides opportunities to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for a deployment; increase combat readiness and lethality; and exercise MAGTF command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare. Samuel Baumer (center), the adjutant for 4th Marine Logistics Group, the Mayor’s Community Service Award at the National World War II Museum, May 17, 2014. Baumer was nominated for the award for his significant contribution to improving the local community in and around New Orleans. In 2013, Baumer supervised 310 Marines during 2,009 hours of community service for more than 40 different events.
