"Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) is a service level training exercise (SLTE) and the annual capstone Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) training event for Marine Forces Reserve (MFR).  ITX provides the premier live-fire combined arms training venue to assess readiness of designated units in support of Strategic Reserve Mobilization Requirements."

U.S. Marines assigned to Marine Air Ground Task Force 25, conduct Integrated Training Exercise 4-23 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, June 5 through June 26, 2023. As the Marine Corps Reserve’s premier annual training event, ITX provides opportunities to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for a deployment; increase combat readiness and lethality; and exercise MAGTF command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare. California Montford Point Marines awarded Congressional Gold medal
Montford Point Marines Sgt. Riley A. McCray and Cpl. Lynn L. Williams are presented with the Congressional Gold Medal by Capt. Caitlin T. Ferrarell at a ceremony here Sept. 21. Ferrarell is the Inspector-Instructor for Detachment 2, Beach and Terminal Operations Company A, 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, in Concord, Calif. The pair earned the award by presidential order for being a few of the 22,000 African-American Marines to serve in the Corps between 1942 and 1949 during a time of common racism and segregation. Marine Reserve units from 22 states around the nation have been tasked to deliver 78 medals to Montford Point Marines who weren’t in attendance at the July ceremony in Washington, D.C.
