ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

4th MAW commanding general is promoted
Maj. Gen. William T. Collins, the commanding general of the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, is promoted by Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of MARFORRES, at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, March 16, 2014. His wife, Rosaelia Collins, attended the ceremony and helped pin on his new rank. Collins assumed command of the 4th MAW on Aug. 5, 2012.
