ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Marines with the 4th Marine Division color guard present the colors during a wreath-laying ceremony at the gravesite of the 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert H. Barrow, at Grace Episcopal Church in St. Francisville, La., Nov.10, 2015. The Commander and Sergeant Major of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, Lt. Gen. Rex C. McMillian and Sgt. Maj. Anthony Spadaro, laid the wreath on Barrow’s grave to honor his service and to pay their respects on behalf of the Marine Corps.
