ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, visits Marines from 3rd battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, while they complete their final exercise at Integrated Training Exercise 4-16 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., June 19, 2016. During the final exercise the Marines combined all of the elements of Marine Air Ground Task Force, to hone their skills and to ensure they are ready to deploy worldwide.
