ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Reserve Marine Lance Cpl. Aaron Harrison, a medium tactical vehicle replacement driver with Company F, 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division, provides security to an Abrams M1A1 Main Battle Tank during a resupply mission at exercise Winter Break 2018, aboard Camp Grayling, Michigan, Feb. 10, 2018. Winter Break 18 allows the Marines of Fox Co. to develop essential mechanized infantry tactics and offensive and defensive capabilities in an austere cold weather environment. This exercise greatly increases the Reserve Component’s interoperability with the Active Component.
