ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Kassandra Blade, the logistics systems coordinations chief with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, encourages a member of the Loyola University New Orleans baseball team during a workout session at Loyola University New Orleans, Jan. 12, 2019. Blade, a former drill instructor, brought her experience to help lead a workout that was physically challenging to the participants but also focused on teamwork and leadership.
