ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Marines with Oscar Battery, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines, 4th Marine Division, conduct fire missions in support of Battalion Distributed Operations Course (BDOC), a sub-event of Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-21 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California on July 27, 2021. BDOC challenges a Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) to execute offensive and defensive operations supported by air and ground assets in a geographically dispersed area of operations.
