ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Highly Decorated Vietnam Era Marine Honored, Mourned, Laid to Rest in Arizona
Col Kevin Norton, commanding officer of Naval ROTC University of Arizona, presents the folded American Flag to Karen Althoff in honor of her late Husband Lt. Col. David Althoff (retired), at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, Chandler Arizona, Mar. 21, 2022. Althoff served as a pilot in the Vietnam War and completed over 1,000 combat missions. He is credited with saving hundreds of Marines who were critically wounded in battle and the recipient of three Silver Stars, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, one Bronze Star, one Meritorious Service Medal and 55 Air Medals.
