ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, operate an assault amphibious vehicle during a live-fire range at Fort Barfoot, Virginia, April 4, 2024. This training prepared the Marines for this year's Integrated Training Exercise 4-24, the Marine Corps Reserve's premiere annual training event held at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, and gave them the opportunity to qualify on critical skill sets necessary for mission success.
