ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Marine Innovation Unit Town Hall with Force Headquarters Group Leadership
U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Nicholas E. Ksiazek, a member of the Marine Innovation Unit currently assigned as an embedded officer at the Defense Innovation Unit, delivers a presentation on the initiatives currently underway at DIU during an all-hands training in White Plains, New York, Nov. 20, 2025. Ksiazek provided Marines with a broad understanding of the collaboration taking place between MIU and DIU to help advanced defense innovation efforts. Established in 2022, the Marine Innovation Unit leverages the talent of the Marine Corps Reserve to accelerate the adoption of advanced capabilities, transform Naval Service capacity for technology employment, and retain and invest in Total Force human capital.
