ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Pfc. Mario Zamora, a Reserve Marine with Weapons Company, 2/25, provides security for his mobile assault team in “Wadi Al Sahara,” an urban training facility at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif. on July 18, 2008. Weapons Company was assigned as the quick reactionary force for the battalion during the pre-deployment training exercise. The unit is bound for Iraq in the fall.
