ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Cpl. Emitria J. Henderson, the noncommissioned officer in charge of the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing’s adjutant section, receives the Outstanding Military Non-Commissioned Officer award at the Audubon Nature Institute Tea Room here May 4. Henderson received the award from the New Orleans Federal Executive Board during public recognition week for her “laudable managerial skills, superb leadership, drive, and determination.” She also served as a provisional military police officer in Al Ramadi, Iraq and on the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa staff where she earned the Joint Service Achievement Medal.
