ABOUT 

Exercise Intrepid Maven is a U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command conceptualized and implemented exercise series designed in late 2021, with the first iteration having occurred in Jordan in March 2022. The series, to include IM 23.2, is designed to strengthen partnerships, produce training opportunities, contribute to interoperability and improve conditions for regional security.

Marines from Company I, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, based out of Buffalo, N.Y., walk side by side, behind a company of Canadian Soldiers from the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, Canadian Forces, based out of Hamilton, Ontario, April 22 during a field hike. The hike took place as part of a small-scale, 48-hour, bilateral training exercise between the U.S. Marine Corps and Canadian Forces in efforts to exchange infantry strategies and tactics as well as further enhance relationships and interoperability between the two military components.
