ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

The perfect PFT
Lt. Col. Dean Keck, a maintenance officer for Marine Forces Reserve, runs around the track at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans in the early morning of Jan. 23, 2013. Keck has scored a perfect 300 on every physical fitness test since he enlisted in 1984, amassing 54 total 300 PFTs. He has run perfect PFTs all over the world – in Japan, in Iraq, and in Afghanistan.
