ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

Frank Grass, chief of the National Guard Bureau, on the importance of Individual Ready Reserve mega-musters and how the Marine Corps conducts them, March 9. The Marine Corps is currently the only branch that holds IRR, multi-regional mega-musters where information on health, education, and employment is provided.
