ABOUT 

"Marines from 2nd Battalion 23d Marine Regiment will conduct mountain training exercises aboard Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport allowing Marines to sustain warfighting functions while participating in realistic combat training in a mountainous environment. The purpose of MTX is to facilitate increased readiness and to challenge units’ ability to plan and perform."

MARFORRES recognized for public service at awards luncheon
Major William S. Chairsell, the operations officer for the 4th Marine Logistics Group, was recognized in the category of outstanding field grade military officer at the Federal Executive Board Distinguished Service Awards luncheon at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility here, May 8.
